Prophetic dream 27 June 26

God is about to REAWAKEN GIFTS in you.

In a dream I had a couple of days ago, I discovered rooms in my house I had forgotten were there. I walked through a door and remembered those rooms had been there all along.

I remembered how they had been used before, but I knew I would use them differently now that I had remembered they were there.

Your home in a dream often reflects your life, and the rooms can symbolize different areas of it.

I believe my dream was pointing to areas in my own life that had not been used for some time but were about to be rediscovered and used again.

I also believe this reflects where many people are in this season.

There are gifts and abilities in your life that have been there all along but haven't been used for a long time.

For some, God had you focused on other assignments for a season. For others, those gifts became dormant because of pain, disappointment, hardship, or fear.

Paul tells Timothy in
2 Timothy 1:6
"Therefore, I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands."

Paul didn't tell Timothy he needed a new gift.
He told him to stir up the gift he already had.

The phrase "stir up" in the Greek means "to rekindle, fan into flame, or keep a fire burning."

The very next verse gives us a clue as to why Paul was encouraging Timothy to stir up the gift.

2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV says:
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

It appears Timothy was facing something that had caused him to become timid and afraid. Fear had caused him to pull back and hold back from using the gifts God had given him.

Maybe you've walked through pain, hardship, disappointment, or persecution, and somewhere along the way you pulled back. You stopped operating in some of the gifts God had placed within you.

I want to encourage you that those gifts are not gone!

They have been there all along, waiting to be rediscovered, just like those forgotten rooms in my dream.

I believe God is reminding you of what He has already placed inside of you. Not so you can go back and do things exactly as you did before, but so you can step into a new season and use those gifts in a fresh way for His glory.

I decree and declare over you today that you will fan into flame the gifts God has placed within you. You will not allow fear to silence you or the enemy to have the final say.

You don’t need a new gift; God is going to use the ones you already have.
Those dormant gifts are being awakened. You will walk in the fullness of who God created you to be, and you will impact many lives for His Kingdom, in the mighty name of Jesus.
